Valuables Stolen from Insecure Vehicles in Normanton

A laptop and wallet containing bank cards were stolen from two insecure vehicles on Church Road and Churchfield Croft, Normanton in the early hours of Wednesday 18 March.

The stolen bank cards were used at various locations nearby and investigations are ongoing.

Help prevent further thefts:

Please ensure all valuables are removed from view or stored securely in the boot, and always check that your vehicle is locked by testing the door handle. 

Unfolded electric wing mirrors may indicate an unlocked vehicle, and offenders are known to look for this.

Thefts can occur anywhere — in car parks, on the roadside, or on private driveways.
